I am thrilled that my daughter feels safe at the Retreat. Now, if you are considering it because of the gym, DON'T. Most of the treadmills are broken and the weight machines have broken cables. I loved living here my freshman year. Great staff and nice apartments and amenities. It is definitely overpriced I have to say. Recommend experiencing it once at least and then moving somewhere bigger and cheaper. Rooms and bathrooms are not really huge here. Overcharging for sure
